Wow, how am I still recovering from the weekend? Nothing like knocking me on my ass. I barely even drank! I think it was all that walking and standing. Don’t get me wrong, I ate a lot of not-so-good-music-festival-foods, but I’m crossing my fingers I did more harm than good with the 8+ hours of standing, dancing and walking around.
To give you an idea: A 130 pound female burns 99 calories an hour “standing quietly,” totaling 792 calories in 8 hours. [source]
That’s insane. So…that’s what I’m hoping happened to me!
Friday I was moving around (on previously blistered feet) from about 11am – 11pm, trying to catch a break to sit where possible, but also dancing and moving and grooving. Probably my least favorite day all around though – both with music and feet problems.
Saturday: About 130pm-9:30pm, sitting the most that day. 2nd favorite day. Sunshine was great and we beat the evening rush.
And Sunday: noon-8pm, mainly on my feet all day, but also consuming the most (unhealthy) things that day. Also probably my favorite day music-wise and just general good vibes. Hated the weather though. The 5th downpour was the worst. But otherwise, great food. Good music. Wonderful end to a busy weekend.
SO there ya go. An unnecessary breakdown of my past few days. Not to mention I somehow fit in a circuit on Friday and another one on Saturday morning. Needless to say, I am pooped. Also why I took last night off from working out to let my body recuperate. Kind of hate it, because I really want to get this body ready for my White Dress, but…have to listen to my body too.
Speaking of which, I am getting really excited about all this clean eating business. Maybe it’s because I ate shit at Lolla or maybe it’s just because Lolla was the last major thing (minus my bachelorette party) before The Wedding. So now I know I can start planning meals out better and STOP EATING OUT. I hate eating out now. I’m over it. Done.
